The Home Stretch
As George Petros and Deanna Lehman race to complete in time the editing of more than one hundred biographies for Carnivora, I’ve continued to push my luck.Saving some of the best additions to the book for the last, I have managed to secure the creative contributions of two more great artists, Harlan Ellison and Shag, and came across and secured a wonderful visual statement by artist Amjad Rasmi during my ongoing search for the legendary Tomi Ungerer. With only a few days to go for getting all final art in-house, four big question remain unanswered: Will I be able to convince the estate of Douglas Adams to allow me to excerpt two hilariously brilliant pages of writing from The Salmon of Doubt? Will I find Heathcote Williams in time and will he find enough merit in the Carnivora book to let me borrow a segment of his epic poem Autogeddon before Federal Express picks up the PDF files of this book? When will Scapegoat Publishing get a final page count on the book from me? Check back in a week for the answers. I will try to keep you pasted.
